Amidst the steel and glass towers of downtown Dallas, the impressive white pillars of Union Station speak of a modern city’s grand history. Not so many years ago, this depot was the commercial and transportation center of the Southwest. In the heyday of the iron horse, as many as 80 trains arrived and departed here daily. Today, Union Station is a unique venue offering a variety of spaces ideal for every occasion including distinguished dinners, stylish weddings, sophisticated receptions and upscale meetings and events. This one-of-a-kind setting, completed in 1916, features 48-foot ceilings in the “Grand Hall,” tall arched windows and original chandeliers. After a $23-million renovation, Union Station is restored back to its former glory, making it a memorable space for special events.

Union Station is conveniently connected to the 1,122-room Hyatt Regency Dallas via a climate-controlled tunnel. The adjoining 50-story Reunion Tower provides additional event spaces and is home to the highly anticipated new restaurant, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck. Other venues with proximity to Union Station are The Sixth Floor Museum, Dallas City Hall, Dallas County Courthouse, and Dallas Convention Center. DART’s Red Line, Blue Line, Amtrak and Trinity Railway Express meet at Union Station.
